That depends on the distribution. In Fedora, by installing the -debug packages
for the libraries that are used by Kaffeine, e. g.:
# dnf debuginfo-install kaffeine
I guess that, on gentoo, you'll need to recompile the packages with some extra
options to /etc/portage/make.conf. Googling it, I found this page that might be
