I have the impression that things get confused with two Plasma sessions running. Well at least I can now have the session I work most with with Plasma again, while the other runs with MATE. Is there anything else except power management and kscreen, both still disabled, that can mess with screen, display switched on/off, brightness? I would like to find out what component is actually dimming and blanking the screen. It would help to get a clue about whats going on here.
