Is there a Solid maintainer with a sufficiently large overview and familiarity
with the entire framework to port it properly to categorised logging?

I could introduce a logging category for just the IOKit backend, but I think
it'd be cleaner to apply a coherent category design in a single commit to the
whole framework.
