Yeah, there are lots of similar custom styled UI elements all over Gwenview. It
is not really an important issue to change this at the moment, but if this gets
ever done, it should be fixed everywhere.
Until then, we focus on fixing the urgent stuff, e.g. recently we changed the
overlay buttons on the thumbnails to improve their legibility somewhat.
Feel free to point out any legibility issues you might stumble upon, though.
