My point was just : in my experience (4 different PCs, about 6 different Nvidia GPUs), this "export __GL_YIELD=USLEEP" workaround is always necessary to prevent tearing. Also all my Nvidia + KDE using friends had to apply it as well. I know this is bad to apply a workaround systematically... What other solution do we have ? Is it up to the distros ?
