Bug ID: 388638 Summary: Unamed, unremoveable multiple user identities created after import from archive Product: kmail2 Version: 5.2.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: garw...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 109720 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=109720&action=edit Screenshot of a small section of the list of unnamed identities created I did a Kubuntu distribution upgrade over December from v14.4 to 17.4 - after the regular upgrade Akonadi would not start. When I solved that I found it no loger pointed to my emails before the upgrade. I then did a completely clean install on a new hard disk. After first testing Kmail and creating my three email identities I used, I then imported my last kmail archive. The import went well as far as recovery of my email history is concerned. However, it created a duplicate set of my newly created identities (it did not import the old) and a number of entirely new "unnamed" identities with nothing in them (I can't remember the exact number, bur they where about five or six. I deleted the duplicate identities and the multiple unnamed identities. Soon after when I tried to select an identity from the list there were 44 new "unnamed" identities. I deleted them one-by-one (there is no other way). After some time and another Kmail restart they were all back and then some. There are now too many to delete one-by-one and still they keep on multiplicating -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
