dark text on drop downs, light text on selected items
Ubuntu 16.04 in both Unity and XFCE4, even after changing themes, the text on
drop down menus is dark grey on black, almost illegible. Tried a dark theme -
doesn't seem to impact colors. Tried switching off compositing and restarting,
no difference. Please see attached screen grabs.
Then, when I click on a drop-down, the background is light, but the selected
item is also very light, thus not legible.
