I'm running an up-to-date KDE neon user edition.
Currently we have:
Package: plasma-desktop
Version: 4:5.12.2-0neon+16.04+xenial+build83
Recommends: (...) muon-notifier, muon-updater, (...)
These two recommended packages are now transitional, having been replaced by
plasma-discover-updater.
plasma-desktop should recommend plasma-discover-updater.
