            Bug ID: 391117
Summary: '^'/'¨' key minimize the application window instead of
                    writing the character
           Product: kwayland-integration
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Keyboard set with French local (fr_FR.UTF-8)

The application window minimize or maximize (toggle) when I press the '^'/'¨'
key.
This is possible to get the character when spamming the key several times.
Spamming the '^' key and press another key after that, can trigger the
minimizing/maximazing event as well.
Consequently, this is quite difficult to write accent character such as 'ê'.

After some tries I get this beavior when I press several times the '^' key:
1st time: the application window is minimized
2nd time: nothing
3rd time: the application window is maximized
4th time: nothing
5th time: the application window is minimized
6th time: nothing
7th time: the application window is maximized (note: if I press space after
this step the character is printed)
8th time: the character '^' is printed

This process is repeated endlessly if I spam the key.

This key works perfectly using plasma 5 with X11 or on another Desktop
Environment using Wayland.

Package detail:

Version : 5.12.2-1
Architecture : x86_64
