I just tried the following: * Disabled my external screen in the Display configuration * Brightness set (through the battery applet) to minimum * Set the times to 1 minute (see attached screenshot) Then I waited one minute, and the laptop screen turned black. When I moved the mouse, it turned back on, on 100% brightness. The brightness slider on the battery though still stays on minimum.
