I was planning to work on it, but due to time limitations I'll never be able to
complete in a near future.
It is possible to use something like Google Spell Checker on Kicker. If you
write "wirter", it can also search for "writer" to give good results instead of
returning an empty search result.
That will be very useful for fast typers. The example is here:

The list of words can be created using .desktop files, including their
keywords, etc. after installation.
