Why not allow this to work with mpd (from what I briefly got about this is that
you can stream from your PC music using some app on the phone for ex). Either
set up mpd by yourself and have a separate thing in the app to allow you to
stream or even have the deamon already configured in the pc application. Would
be even more awesome to have something like that for video too and even files.
So maybe something like Kloud with kde connect being a way to access it.
Kloud? Oh come on, that has to be done, doesn't it? :)
