Please try to get a crash log. It is fairly certain that this is a problem with
your setup, of course, because hundreds of thousands of people use Krita on
Windows 10 without problems, but it would be good to have the following
information so we could start guessing what's up:

* crash log (https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger)
* system information for bug reports (from the dialog in the help menu)
* whether you have any security software installed other than Windows Defender
