I beg to differ: several distributions still distribute the unfixed frei0r
package, the one with the ugly alpha bug. Until this is resolved I strongly
recommend against disabling this existing and known-to-work feature in
Kdenlive.
Anyway, I would suggest to not remove this feature, but instead let it default
to off when the frei0r alpha bug fix has finally been delivered to users.
