Everything's quite fine here on Neon :)
Just, if you turn on appmenu right now, only qt5 apps have it, not even qt4
apps, because appmenu-qt package it's not installed.
Neon should have that package installed by default (and relative gtk
counterpart in Plasma 5.13).
