Edit an existing non-project file with 0644 permisions with kdevelop and save changes to file. ls -al shows 0644. Edit an existing project file with 0644 permisions with kdevelop and save changes to file. ls -al show 744 Creating a new file and saving it results in the file being saved using the default UMASK.
