Maybe you can try executing
    sudo su - -c "KDE_FULL_SESSION=true krusader"

    sudo su - -c "XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE krusader"

    sudo su -
    export XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE; krusader
