DNG is not sure, we can reproduce a broken DNG file. We will test it with the next version of Exiv2, but probably there will be no progress in this area. I also thought about leaving an entry in the digiKam settings to enable write support again. This must be done manually and the user then does so at his own risk for his RAW images.
