krita painting artifacts in animation frame
There seems to be some problems updating the canvas while animating.
Typically, if a frame is moved or new art added to it, it takes a moment to
generate a new 'preview' (not sure of the nomenclature). However, in the
timeline, the first frame (0) and any other frames before the next key, don't
update. No grey marker above the column.
Possibly (un)related, on the canvas, new art starts to look like the
attachment. Pixels where new art is drawn are the only ones updated. Hence, the
peculiar artifacts.
I believe it's related because after a number of keyframes with new art are
added, and if onion skinning is turned on or off, Krita is slow to update the
frames (or previews). This makes it difficult to scrub quickly thru the
animation, thus making it difficult to animate at even a moderate pace.
I love the direction Krita is going with animation, but it must be faster at
updating the previews. It needs to be instantaneous and not be in the way of
the animator.
