I downloaded the switching software for testing and found that the issue does not appear if I switch to Integrated only. If I leave it to Discrete or Dynamic then the issue is present. Note: I had to disconnect my external display in order to for the switcher to allow me to switch to Integrated. I normally run with an external display connected.
