            Bug ID: 398909
Summary: Can't log out when swap heavily used
           Product: ksmserver
           Version: 5.13.4
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: knut.hildebra...@gmx.de
  Target Milestone: ---

I have about 10 GB RAM and 20 GB swap memory. When RAM usage reaches about 8 GB
and swap usage about 10 GB I can't log out and shut down the system anymore.
Even invoking "qdbus org.kde.ksmserver /KSMServer
org.kde.KSMServerInterface.logout 0 2 2" does not work. I only shut down my
machine invoking "shutdown now" which makes plasma forget it's current state.
How can I log out and shut system down in a non-emergency-way at heavy swap
usage?
