Bug ID: 399147 Summary: KMail2-5.9.1 spelling uses wrong dictionary in Subject field Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: composer Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: pe...@prh.myzen.co.uk Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY KMail2-5.9.1 spelling uses wrong dictionary in Subject field STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the composer 2. Write a Subject 3. If a word is spelt other than in US English, it's highlighted. OBSERVED RESULT "Behaviour" is correct in British English, which is selected in all my profiles, but it's highlighted in the Subject field. EXPECTED RESULT "Behaviour" should not be highlighted in the Subject, because I have British English selected. SOFTWARE VERSIONS See below: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Whether the subject should be spell-checked at all is debatable, but if it is it should use the same dictionary as the body. >From my .sig: Gentoo testing sys-kernel/gentoo-sources 4.18.10 QT 5.11, KDE frameworks 5.50.0, KDE plasma 5.13.5 KMail 5.9.1 (gentoo 18.08.1), akonadi 18.08.1 x11-drivers/xf86-video-amdgpu 18.1.0, dev-libs/amdgpu-pro-opencl 18.20.606296 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
