Now I tested with plasmaengineexplorer. When I mount an image a
/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/block_devices/sr3 appears:

When I unmount the image, the /org/freedesktop/UDisks2/block_devices/sr3
disappears but the icon in the system tray remains:
