            Bug ID: 399505
Summary: Renaming a file makes audio crackly
           Product: dolphin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

          Reporter: is...@isaacs.site
                CC: elvis.angelac...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When renaming a file in Dolphin, my audio seems to get all crackly and messed
up on Fedora 28 KDE.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Play some music
2. Open dolphin and rename a file

OBSERVED RESULT
Audio becomes very crackly and messed up until killing "speech-dispatcher",
which seems to be the source of the problem.

EXPECTED RESULT
Audio should not be crackly.

SOFTWARE VERSIONS
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.48.0
Qt Version: 5.11.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
My motherboard is an ASRock X370 Taichi with the ALC1220 audio codec.
There have been no modifications to the sound system that's the default in
Fedora 28 KDE.

I apologize if this is in the wrong category, I couldn't seem to find anything
speech related.
