I just tried reinstalling it on my machine running KDE Neon 18.04 (note: installing version 4 into Plasma 5), and I was unable to even bring up that sidebar I was talking about in my bug report. I think this bug report is really outdated, so you are more than welcome to close it, unless you've got any further ideas for this.
