This bug report is very old, and I have moved on from slackware about 3 1/2 years ago. I still use Gwenview although on Mint now (Gwenview 4.14.0 pre / KDE 4.14.2) on Mint Rosa 17.3 I still fgind Gwenview inefficvient on directories with large amounts of files, especially when opening/browsing folders on my Freenas server. Thumbnails are slow loading and while this is happening Gwenview is very unresponsive and slow, often needs to be killed or wait for several minutes until it becomes responsive again. Closing it also requires several minutes, and crashes are not exceptional. I will try to make a crash trace and report back -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
