SUMMARY:
Not able to access files from the smartphone using dolphin. If I am using USB
Debugger in the developer options from Android, the problem remains, however
using a other file manager it works perfectly! Error message: the process for
mtp protocol died unexpectedly
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Kubuntu 18.10.
2. Plugg in Android 9 phone (Motorola X4).
3. Select File Manager from the phone.
4. Error message: "the process for mtp protocol died unexpectedly" and I cannot
access files.
5. Using USB debugger from the Android developer options does not work.
OBSERVED RESULT
Not able to retain my files.
EXPECTED RESULT
Using a other file manager it works fine, which would be excepted.
