So to make sure I've got this correct, this is an unchaged Fedora, and you've
installed on both qemu and kvm and they both have the same behaviour?
Can you run "ps ux" from a terminal (you might need to switch to a new VT) when
the black screen is showing?
Also please include SDDM and user session logs. (probably journalctl -u sddm
and ~/.local/share/sddm/xorg-session.log)
