On login, ~/.config/gtkrc-2.0 is overwritten with:

I have disabled the checkbox but it continues overwriting the file anyway.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. change contents of ~/.config/gtkrc-2.0
2. log out & log in
3. open file and note changed contents
