Bug ID: 404430
Summary: patchreview plugin: shortcut to commit mode from
review mode?
Product: kdevplatform
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: All
Status: REPORTED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: patchreview
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
I often miss a quick way to go from the patch review ("show differences") mode
to the mode where I can commit the changes. Partly that is because the view
switch tends to collapse the project tree so it can be a bit of work to expose
the target *sub*directory again if your commit cannot be made against the full
project tree.
It's not very high on my wishlist, but I just noticed how the cancel button in
Commit mode still says "Cancel Review".
Does this mean it should be straightforward to trigger a mode change through
patchreview UI (toolbar)? If so, how about a context menu attached to the
"Finish Review" button, with a single "Commit these changes" action?
