SUMMARY
If I set zsh as default shell my desktop does not load after I log in over sddm
but loads without any problem if I use bash.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install zsh
2. switch shell via sudo chsh -s /bin/zsh $(whoami)
3. reboot
OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop does not get loaded but I can see my mouse cursor and if I move the
cursor on the top left corner I get the glowing for the desktop window view
EXPECTED RESULT
Seeing the desktop
