I really dislike my panel changing its size, and since I nearly always have a lot of apps running, that happens very often.. I also prefer my windows stay at the same position and keep their size, as can be seen in this video: https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=118646 (It also seems to lag slightly sometimes.) What I prefer would be the default behavior from KDE's Icon-only Taskmanager: Panel always stay the same size.
