Funky looking screen - Attachment #1
SUMMARY
When attempting to select by rectangular area the screen is corrupted, and the
GUI completely locks up.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Choose "Select by Area" followed by "Take new screenshot"

OBSERVED RESULT
Very funky looking screen - see attachment #1
GUI is now unresponsive - it's necessary to switch to a VT and reboot!
Spectacle also seems to be spamming the log files when this happens - see
attachment #2
EXPECTED RESULT
A successful screenshot of the selected area.
