I’m not sure if the Flatpak is complete. I see many issues have happened due to
bad packaging... .
Try the Flatpak from here: https://flathub.org/apps/details/org.kde.kdenlive.
If this Flatpak has the same issue, try with the AppImage 18.12.1b from the
Kdenlive download page.
