SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. change plasma look&feel theme to breeze dark
2. open dolphin, enable text preview and go to a file with syntax highlighting
OBSERVED RESULT

syntax highlighting works fine and uses a dark colorscheme, but the file
background is white and most file previews unreadable
EXPECTED RESULT
file preview using a dark file background, when using a dark theme
