Okay, I set my system for graphical login. It happens rarely now but still does
happen occasionally. Rather than half way up the screen, the menu pops up from
the second display (where the menu itself is on the primary display), making it
difficult to navigate to.

Again, re-inserting the HDMI cable fixes the issue.

Attached are the files you requested.

As using a graphical login definitely has a big impact, could you give me a
clue as to how I might fix this for regular logins? I don't want to use a
graphical login, nomatter how forking cool it is.
