Confirmed. I opened issue: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/237.
You can add the extract zone:
- with "ctrl+i" to the bin as subclip or
- with "v" to the timeline or
- when you go with the mouse to the bottom left corner of the clip monitor you
can either insert video or audio onto the timeline. Click on the desired icon.
