SUMMARY
closing laptop lid while media player is open and paused causes media to resume
when laptop lid closes, preventing suspend despite computer reaching lightdm
lock screen
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. on laptop, open any media, youtube works
2. make sure laptop is set to suspend when closed
3. close laptop
OBSERVED RESULT
paused media begins playing on closed laptop, computer does not suspend
EXPECTED RESULT
media stays paused, computer suspends
