Bug ID: 409087
Summary: OpenGL Viewer does not respect the picture rotation
Product: digikam
Version: 6.2.0
Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Plugin-Generic-GLViewer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
I sometimes need to do interactive presentations (manual slideshow) with with
Zoom and panning requirements.
If I'm correct, Slideshow does not offer this possibility, so I use OpenGL
viewer .
But embedded picture rotation is not applied by OpenGL Viewer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a picture taken in portait mode
2. View it through OpenGL
3.
OBSERVED RESULT
the picture appears in the "wrong" orientation, landscape mode.
EXPECTED RESULT
the picture should appear in the portrait mode.
Pressing "r" key does rotate the picture, but it's not convenient to do it at
each picture of a full album.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It could also be an idea to merge the slideshow & OpenGL viewer...
