- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was playing the video game Stellaris. The game runs on Paradox Development
Studio's Clausewitz engine. I was also running Firefox, Dolphin, Discord, and
Steam concurrently with Stellaris.
- Unusual desktop behavior that I noticed:
Plasmashell would crash again without recovering, leaving a bare X server
environment with all of the open windows still open and the ability to alt-tab
between them. Stellaris would still be running. I can only start plasmashell
again using either Dolphin or the terminal.
- Custom settings of the application that may be related:
I am using a two-monitor setup with multiple wallpapers on one monitor and a
single wallpapers on the other monitor. The other monitor also has the widgets
Temperature Sensors, System Load Viewer, Memory Status, Hard Disk Space Usage,
CPU Load Monitor, and Network Monitor. I am running KDE on Arch Linux.
The crash can be reproduced every time.
