I'd like to turn it off, because now I see the notifications, which make my eyes already turn to the right and when I read the notification text, the moving progress bar just irritates and distracts. Have you considered that? How does this progress bar actually help me at my work? As a user I know that these notifications will vanish within a few seconds anyway.
