Tablet option may automatically reset to the other variant in case your operating system/driver doesn't support this interface (which is rather improbable, though). Are you sure other options are not saved and you pressed OK button after editing them? Could you make this test? 1) Download DebugView logging application and run it: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/debugview 2) Start Krita, go to Preferences->General->Cursor Shape and select "Crosshair" 3) Press OK in the dialog 4) Restart Krita 5) Go to Preferences->General and check the status of "Cursor Shape".
