I can't make this happen on my 4.2.6 on macos. I think it may be a
configuration problem. Could you try resetting you config and try to reproduce
the bug again?

will of coure reset configuration to defaults, and erase all keyboard
shortcuts)
Or maybe its another bug, how old was your previous version of krita? If too
old the solution might be different.
