SUMMARY
When character strings overlap on the dock/panel itself lattedock will shrink,
i.e the dock remains the horizontal length stays the same but the vertical
length will shorten. This can occur with Active window control when show title
is set to "always fit" and the title is several lines long. This can also occur
when active window control is left justified and global menu is middle
justified and there are a lot of global menu entries.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a latte dock panel.
2. Set alignment to justify.
3. On the left justify add active window control to the panel with window
title/application title enabled.
4. In the middle justify add global menu
5. on the right hand side add widgets (the goal is to force strings/widgets to
ovrelap)
6.Open an app with lots of global menu entries (tex studio, calibre, etc). This
works best on a smaller resolution screen (1366 x 768 in my case)
7. lattedock will shrink
OBSERVED RESULT
After strings/widgets overlap in lattedock, the dock/panel will shrink
vertically by approx half
EXPECTED RESULT
Widgets should be aware of space taken up in lattedock and accomidate widget
icons/strings.
