Well that's odd. It's working for me. Do you see the same thing when you
Right-click on plasma desktop > Configure Desktop? Or is it only here in the
Screen locking page?
However the greater issue is that even if the configuration interface was
working for you, POTD wallpapers are unusable on the lock screen: bug 389962.
