Could anyone advise what the best option is for (k)ubuntu?
- apt: v5.9 -> known bugs, so not good option
- snap: v6.3 -> beta/edge warning, not official (?)
- appimage: v6.3 -> official, but not integrated in (k)ubuntu
$ snap search digikam
Name Version Publisher Notes Summary
digikam 6.3.0 sergiusens - Photo Management Program
$ snap install digikam
error: snap "digikam" is not available on stable but is available to install on
the following
channels:
beta snap install --beta digikam
edge snap install --edge digikam
Please be mindful pre-release channels may include features not completely
tested or
implemented. Get more information with 'snap info digikam'.
