Having global tooltips disabled and force enable them only for task manager. What would be even better, in my opinion, is if all plasmoids could have an option to overwrite the global behavior. A combo-box with 3 options: inherit, force enable, force disable, implemented through a library all plasmoids use. Or something like the notifications settings where you can disable notifications for certain applications. That was a clarification of what this request was about, since I think the status of "RESOLVED WORKSFORME" is not correct.
