The bug was closed for digiKam-7.0.0, unfortunately the improvements are not
included in digiKam-6.4.0.
Tested at home with digiKam-7.0.0 there were no problems with the size.
However, here at the work with a Windows version of digiKam-7.0.0 the issue is
still to reproduce. I open the bug again.
