Setting Device Priority is working great for me, I can just no longer get to it in systemsettings. I currently have a dozen devices showing up in my "Audio Playback" and "Audio Recording" sections. We use Jabra USB speaker/microphones in our conference rooms so I am constantly adding/removing audio devices from my laptop. Setting the priorities makes this as simple as pluging the device in.
