Reinstalled 4.2.8 to see if this worked. The Checkbox for Canvas Graphics
Acceleration was already ticked since it was in the previous version and the
new installation didn't overwrite the setting. OpenGLRenderer was set to
desktop. With these settings the problem was still there. Changing
OpenGLRenderer to auto made a slight improvement but it was still unusable.
Instead of taking two seconds to react it only took one. Unfortunately this
setting was the best of all available since all the other choices are either as
bad or worse.
